Who we are

Billiard Trainer is a practice app for pool players. It is run by the operator named in the app store listing. You can reach us at sasa.milasinovic@gmail.com.

What we store in the cloud

When you create an account we store your name, your email address and either a password hash or your Apple or Google account identifier. When you use the app we store the shared copy of your drills, routines, practice sessions, blocks and notes. For recordings we store metadata only: the device used, the duration, the file size and the quality. We also store the identifier and name of each of your devices and the app version. We also store the date your free trial ends and whether you have unlocked the app.

What we never store

Your videos never leave your device. They are recorded to the storage of your phone and are never uploaded: the service has no upload feature. Video thumbnails stay on the device too.

Bug reports

If you choose to report a bug, we store what you write (what happened and, optionally, what you expected) together with diagnostics: the app version and build, the device model and operating system, the language, the screen you were on, your sync status, the number of unsynced changes, whether you are in the free trial, and the most recent error messages the app logged. If you are signed in we also store your account id and email address, so we can reply. A report contains no screenshots, videos, drill content or notes. We keep bug reports for 12 months, and they are deleted with your account. A report is sent only when you press Send.

Analytics, ads and tracking

We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not sell or share your data, and no third-party analytics or advertising service receives it.

Who processes your data

The data is hosted on a server operated by us. Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, which process your payment; we never see your card details. To confirm your one-time unlock we use RevenueCat, which processes this on our behalf. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user id linked to your account, your purchase and restore events, and the store receipt or transaction. It receives no videos, drills or sessions. To deliver the bug report emails to us we use Mailtrap, which processes them on our behalf: it receives the contents of a report you choose to send, as described above, and nothing else. We do not hand your data to any other processors. Sign in with Apple and Google sign-in only confirm your identity when you choose them.

How long we keep it

We keep your data until you delete your account. Encrypted backups of the database roll off after 14 days.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. You can also ask by email: write to sasa.milasinovic@gmail.com from the address registered to your account and we will start the deletion for you.

Once a deletion is requested you are signed out everywhere and all of your data is deleted within 24 hours. Backups roll off within 14 days.

Apple and Google identifiers

If you sign in with Apple or Google we keep only the identifier those services give us, and your name and email address if you share them. We revoke the Apple connection when your account is deleted.

Children

Billiard Trainer is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we update this page and its date. Material changes are also announced in the app.
